Chicagoland is the general term Chicagoans use for the Chicago metro area and, to various degrees, beyond. Here, I am including as far north as southern Wisconsin (south of Milwaukee), and as far east as northwest Indiana. To the west, I will not go as far as Rockford (and, while I have been there many times, if I have any photos (and I have not checked), it would be insufficient for an album). For those that don’t know, east is just Lake Michigan!

Architect Frank Lloyd Wright lived and worked for a period of his life in Oak Park, IL. He designed and renovated several houses all in his immediate neighborhood, and the Unity Temple nearby.
Arlington Park (during some years, including the last time I visited, known as Arlington International Racecourse) was a Thoroughbred race track in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, Illinois. Photos from 2009-2013.
Views of Navy Pier of the years, including when the Tall Ships visited in 2010.
Chicago Air & Water Show is an (almost) annual tradition in Chicago along the lakefront not too long before Labor Day. The air portion is visible and heard all over the city, including Downtown. A few highlights from 2004 viewed from Belmont Harbor.
