Washington Dulles Trip (March 2025)

My first visit to the Washington D.C. area since 2010. Spurred by bonus miles, I finally got over to the Udvar-Hazy Center which is the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum Annex just south of Dulles Airport (within sight of the runways) in Chantilly, VA, and saw its amazing collection which includes the Enola Gay, a prototype Boeing 707, a Concorde, and the Space Shuttle Discovery orbiter. I made it over to the National Mall within sight of the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol, and visited Smithsonian’s American History, National American Indian, and Air & Space Museums.
